Importance of Dhammapada in Indian Society

Abstract: Being a part of Indian religion and culture the Buddhism contains various Indian thoughts, and values of life. In Buddhism one can find ancient Indian concepts of spiritual as well as social values which are relevant even today. The teachings of Buddha are not different from ancient Indian ethical values rather more closer and practical. As a part of Buddhist literature, the Dhammapada comprises many ethical values of life.
